Singer Kelly Rowland collapsed during her set at 'This Day Music Festival' in Lagos, Nigeria this past weekend. The suddenness of of it all, makes for uncomfortable viewing

"Kelly Rowland freaking collapsed, 15 minutes into her performance. She was all up on the stage shaking her booty to "Say My Name" and I look away for a split second and then I see her lying on the stage. At first, I thought it was part of the act especially when one of her dancers started jumping around super-dramatically but then stage crew started running towards her and then some This Day folks including This Day publisher, Nduka Obaigbena were on the stage forming a ring round her to prevent the audience from seeing what the medical emergency crew were doing and then we knew it was real." Ryan Adamsis an american alt-country/rock singer song writer from Jacksonville, North Carolina. Raised by his mother and grandmother, Adams dropped out of school at age 16 and performed with several local bands before moving to Raleigh and forming the band Whiskeytown. Three albums and five years later Adams went solo, releasing Heartbreaker in 2000. A long-term resident o New York City, Adams is best known for his song "New York, New York", which appeared on his 2001 release Gold. He has since released four more solo albums and two albums with backing band The Cardinals, with another album, Easy Tiger, due out in June, 2007.
